Your towel has a contrast-colored slit on one side. That's your driver's side indicator. Start there.
Start on the driver's side
Lay the towel across the seat with the contrast-colored slit on the driver's side.
Fit it over the handles
Passenger side first, then driver's side.
Move the seat forward
Pull the seat forward to expose the back.
Tuck it underneath
Tuck it under the handles at the sides and back until it is secure.
Set the slits at the handle bases
This is what locks everything in place all around.
Lower the seat back down
It should sit firmly in place all around.

A snug tuck that stays put
Think of it like tucking in a shirt. The towel goes over the handles through the slits, then you tuck everything underneath so it is snug. Set the slits right at the base of each handle to keep it locked in place, no matter how bumpy the course.
If excess fabric bunches at the back, the towel is upside down. Flip it and try again.
Care is simple
Wash cold. Tumble dry low. Keep fabric softener away from it. Softener coats the fibers and reduces absorbency. The towel gets softer with every wash without it.
